Deriving strong inspiration from this, InDesign started its journey in the year 1948 by Mr. Avadh Behari Khanna, and has succeeded in establishing themselves among the preeminent Manufacturers, Exporters and Suppliers of Shawls, Stoles and Scarves.
InDesign traces its roots back to block printing on sarees, where the first vision for the company came from the city of Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh.
Each new generation is a fresh invasion of ideas! Which is why InDesign then started trading in Sarees and manufacturing them as well. The huge success by the second generation of the family resulted in opening a store in New Delhi with scarves.
The third generation of entrepreneurs in the valley, arrived in 2013 after completing his college from London, United Kingdom, with a new perspective focusing on brands and wholesalers in European countries.
This obsession for success led to a remarkable increase in export turnover after the company was led by two brothers, who then start following the next years’ trend in fashion industry focusing on quality over quantity.

InDesign has several fully integrated, self-reliant factories which work for us dealing in all types of Indian material. It is also home to blend traditional skills of printing with Screen, Block and discharge printing in a fully equipped factory in Varanasi and Jaipur. Operations and production of the company are integrated, streamlined and controlled in our Head Office located in Varanasi to keep things in sync.
We have successfully established an extraordinary Export House in Jaipur which follows all the code of conducts, labor laws - ensuring the security of our workers and encouraging good relationships among them to promote the trade of ideas and foster a collaborative spirit.

Starting from the manufacturing stage, we have assigned a quality cautious team to keep a check on our products which are tested constantly till their delivery. Besides, we also have a research unit which is responsible for taking essential steps to enhance the quality of our products. Our fabrics are made of supreme colour fastness and fabric shrinkage control. The stitching quality is ensured by our in-line supervisors who drive progress for our clients through their experience in this industry.
