There are some things I would like to say about this film, first of all, it was really kinda fun to do, hopefully I'll put another together soon if I find the time. Unfortunately though my HDD > me, frapsing at my resolution, 30 minutes took up 90 gigs, so some of the shots in there really aren't what I would ideally have, c'est la vie and all that eh.
Secondly I tried to move this away from the usual pve movie things I see, the soundtrack is somewhat different to what you would normally hear, and I've tried to reflect it to a certain extent in the editing. Some of the music seems to slightly misfit in places, unfortunately vegas isn't the best too to play around with music in, it's a very simple case of cutting out samples, with no options to manipulate the music or bring certain elements of it up. What I really want to do is to improve my music editing abilities, probably using ableton live or something and really start to restructure it into my movies.
This movie is longer than I really want it to be for WCM but I made it for my guild first and foremost and then later decided to put it up here, hence pretty full length fights. Oh that's another thing, this isn't showing anything new or special in the way of content, you will see me play badly and make stupid stupid mistakes, I have this wonderful knack of tunnel visioning my raid frames from time to time. We are not some super top guild, we are just a nice little funlol guild in the wallowing marsh of alliance that is Silvermoon EU.
Anyway enough with the excuses, despite all those things I would rather improve, I'm still kinda happy about the film, at least in places. Please please please download it, I know it's a chunky bugger but you can always just delete it anyway, it's so big because it's viewable at 1900x1200, I'll have to look into other codecs though.
Please, if you leave a comment for me just explain it, what you did or didn't like, not just 'shit lol die in a fire'. In fact I think I'm flattering myself here, I'm guestimating 9 downloads tops, all from the stars of this film, heh, enjoy. |
