Project Brief

'A channel for the action loving generation', Sonic is exclusively conceived to bridge the gap between the kids and the youth channels. Thrills. Guts. Glory are the three keywords summing up the channel. It targets the urban, hyper active young adults who live life on-the- edge. Round the clock excitement is what they thrive on. Sonic will thus offer doses of Action, Adventure and Adrenalin with shows like Power Rangers, Supa Strikas, Fighting Spirit Wrestling, Kung Fu Panda-The Legend of Awesomeness, House of Anubis to name a few.


'SONIC' is available on Airtel, Dish TV, Videocon, Reliance and some of the MSOs like Den, Hathway, Siti Digital, In Digital and Digicable.

Challenges

  • The website interface had to be modern, classy, minimal and user friendly.
  • The homepage had to have tons of information and yet not look busy and cluttered.
  • The website had to have a grid layout format made for 1366x768 resolution and higher so that it could render right in the middle of the screen on all resolutions.
  • Use of modern user interactive features like slideshow, scroller, carousel and custom image hover transitions to enhance the overall user experience.
  • Use of AJAX to load the data on demand to minimize the loading time.
